Safe moving and lifting
We move heavy safes safely — over stairs, through narrow corridors and without an elevator. We use the Zonzini Domino Lift robot up to 800 kg and protect floors and structures.
Moving a safe requires special equipment: even a medium office safe weighs 150–500 kg, while larger ones reach 1000 kg or more. ELP Baltics lifts safes up to 800 kg with the Zonzini Domino Lift robot even without an elevator, protects floors and stairs, and works under contract and with insurance. In Vilnius prices start from €120.
What we do when moving a safe
From weight assessment to safe placement — we are responsible for the whole process.
Weight and route assessment
We assess the safe's weight, dimensions, stairs, turns and floor load capacity.
Robot lifting up to 800 kg
Over stairs we lift with the Zonzini Domino Lift robot when there is no elevator or it is too small.
Floor and stair protection
We use protective boards to avoid damaging floor coverings and stair treads.
Securing and fixing
We firmly secure the safe on the dolly and in the van so it does not move in transit.
Door and mechanism protection
We lock the doors and handles so the lock mechanism is not damaged.
Placement and anchoring
We place the safe; if needed we anchor it to the wall or floor.
Insurance and contract
We work under contract; cargo and premises are insured throughout the job.
Safe moving step by step
A typical safe move in Vilnius takes 1–3 hours depending on weight and floors.

Safe moving: what's important to know
The main risk when moving a safe is its weight and compactness: the mass is concentrated in a small area, so without proper equipment floors, stairs and the elevator cabin get damaged. Trying to lift a safe with a random crew often ends in injury or a damaged surface.
ELP Baltics lifts safes up to 800 kg with the Zonzini Domino Lift robot, which safely handles stairs without lifting "by hand". For heavier safes we design an individual solution with additional equipment. We protect the whole route — floors, stairs, elevator cabin — with boards.
Anchoring the safe in the new location
On request we anchor the safe to the wall or floor — this increases theft resistance and meets insurance requirements. We perform the work under contract, with insurance.
