Retail store relocation
We relocate retail stores with minimal trading downtime: stock, displays, POS, alarms. We work nights and weekends.
A retail relocation is not furniture moving — it's relaunching a store within 24–48 hours. ELP Baltics works under contract, at night and on weekends, with packing, shelving disassembly and rebuild, POS migration and alarm dismantling. We work with chains and independent stores from 50 m² up to 1 500 m².
What we deliver during a store move
A standard project — one trading site, 1–2 night shifts, team of 4–8 people. Here's what's covered.
Site survey and schedule
A coordinator visits the store before the move. We agree the trading downtime and align with your staff schedule.
Stock and inventory
We pack stock by category, label with QR codes, and reconcile an inventory sheet with your representative.
Shelving and displays
We disassemble metal/wooden shelves, displays and mannequins. At the new site we rebuild to your planogram.
POS and tills
We disconnect tills, terminals and barcode scanners. With your IT team we move them onto the new network.
Alarms and cameras
We dismantle the intrusion alarm, CCTV and access control. Re-install at the new site is best done by your security partner.
Signage and merchandising
Internal signage, price displays and stands are removed and relocated. External signage — per your partner's recommendation.
Heavy equipment
Chillers, condensing units, safes — we lift up to 800 kg up the stairs with the Zonzini Domino Lift robot.
Waste and packaging
After the move we remove and dispose of old boxes, wrap and packing material.

Indicative store relocation prices
Final price depends on trading area, shelving count, refrigeration and schedule (night vs day work).
| Store size | Team | Duration | Indicative price (excl. VAT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small store (up to 100 m²) | 4 people + van | 1 night | from €980 |
| Medium store (100–300 m²) | 5–6 people + truck | 1–2 nights | from €2 200 |
| Large store (300–1 000 m²) | 6–8 people + 2 vehicles | 2–3 nights | from €4 800 |
| Chain rollout | Per plan | Per schedule | custom quote |
* Night-shift surcharge — +25 % over the standard rate. Refrigeration disconnect/reconnect is quoted separately. Heavy equipment (chillers, safes) is quoted via the Zonzini robot line item.
Why retail moves are night projects
The cost of trading downtime is usually higher than the move itself. A typical Vilnius store sells €2 000–8 000 per day. So most moves run at night or over a weekend — close in the evening, open the next morning.
That requires a different team shape: more headcount (4–8), strict scheduling with buffer time and a planogram ready at the new site. ELP Baltics has experience with small grocery and apparel chains — our most frequent retail clients.
How chain relocations are different
For multi-site chain rollouts each store gets its own schedule but the same crew runs the same procedures. That reduces risk and keeps the rollout pace stable.
What about equipment alone?
If you only need to move equipment — chillers, POS, shelving, retail robots — without the stock, that's a separate service: retail equipment relocation.
