What we do when transporting art
From packing to delivery and hanging — we are responsible for the piece's safety and confidentiality.

We assess the piece's condition, photograph it and prepare a condition report.
Custom crates
We build crates to the piece's dimensions with foam and soft-material layers.
Museum-grade packing
We use acid-free paper, foam, corner protection and anti-vibration solutions.
Climate control
For sensitive pieces we maintain stable temperature and humidity in transit.
Securing in transport
We fix the pieces so there is no vibration or movement during the journey.
Hanging and placement
On delivery we hang paintings or place sculptures in the specified location.
Insurance and NDA

Art transport: what's important to know
Damage to art most often comes not from impact but from the wrong microclimate and vibration. That is why proper packing and a stable environment in transit matter most. ELP Baltics builds custom crates and uses acid-free materials that do not cause chemical reactions with the paint layer or canvas.
For each piece we prepare a condition report with photographs — this records the state before and after transport and ensures insurance cover. For valuable collections and gallery pieces we work under a confidentiality agreement (NDA).
Galleries, collectors and private clients
We serve galleries, auction houses, collectors and private clients. On delivery we can hang or place the pieces in the specified location — discreetly and precisely.
